Welcome to FondueCooking.com — a site about making fondue well. We publish step-by-step recipes, technique guides and troubleshooting help for cheese, chocolate, broth and oil fondue, plus free planning tools.
Who we are
FondueCooking.com is run by a small in-house editorial team who enjoy the communal, low-stress style of cooking that fondue is built around. Articles are written and edited in-house.
How we research and write
- Recipes and techniques. Built from standard, well-documented fondue practice — traditional ratios, temperatures and methods — and reviewed for accuracy before publishing. We note where results vary by equipment, cheese, or altitude.
- Equipment recommendations. Based on published specifications, materials, capacity, heat source and ease of cleaning, cross-checked against manufacturer information and broad patterns in publicly available customer feedback. They are not based on us personally buying and testing every product. Where we have used something ourselves, we say so on the page.
- Corrections. If we get something wrong, we fix it and note the change. You can reach us through the contact page.
What you’ll find here
- Guides for every fondue type — the cheese fondue guide, the chocolate fondue guide, and the beginner’s guide to all four types.
- Troubleshooting for grainy, thin, lumpy or seized fondue.
- Free tools — a recipe generator, cheese pairing guide, party planner and more.
- Party and entertaining ideas, quantities and menus.
